Getting back to normal

Things around here have been getting back to normal and we seem to be back on the go. This week is also the first week of make up hours, they are trying to save the kids from having to go much in June. I'm for this since the school does get hot and I like them out, able to enjoy their summer. It has been hard getting them ready and out the door earlier, esp. Roo she seems to have the diddles this week. They then go longer in the afternoon but are provided a snack, to the kids this makes going longer worth it!

Monday we had pictures at the local fire station, I haven't had the kids pictures taken in a long time, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they turned out. Tuesday I had church and visited with Martha and Mr. C it was nice to see them again. Yesterday I was at the school all day getting things in order for the 5th and 6th grad fund raisers, then we had dance and tutoring. Today I'm getting my house back in order!

The kids didn't go to the services over the weekend and this is how they said their goodbyes. They wanted to do it but then when we got outside it was hard for them to let go of that string, I'm not sure what happened in those little minds but it was hard to watch.

We stayed outside and watched them drift...

and drift away.

They hated to go back in, to leave those balloons out there floating around... Roo asked "Mommy, do you think God will let her reach out and grab my balloon?"

Continued prayers for her family please *hugs*

Thank you guys for wanting to send cards to my grandfather, if you would still like to do so, please let me know!
