For the 2008 games I started a WV team for the Ravelympics and had a lot of fun, so of course I had to start another team for the 2010 Olympics.
I think JD thinks I have lost my mind this week, I have been double and triple checking all the team members tags. That way when they cross their finish lines they can get their badges. I just now walked past him and said "Oh, I gotta go walk my team into the opening ceremonies".
It is fun though, you get to chat with other Ravelry members that you might not other wise get to know and you get to challenge yourself. We can't start until 9pm and then you have till the closing ceremonies to finish.
So what am I hoping to finish in this 2wk span?
A pair of thrummed mittens
A pair of mittens for Roo (from my head since I scratched the other pair and never re-started)
The Olympic hat
The baby afghan that is taking forever!
Think I can do it? I should say I also have 3 sample knits that I gotta get done...I work best under pressure. : )
