We finally got a good OH snow this weekend, lately mom and them have been getting it. We always gotta dig out up here, I have been worrying about my n'bors and hope someone is digging them out like we used to do.

The kids were so excited to finally have more than an inch or two to play in, this is what they are used to. Although this was pretty deep in the snow drift areas I got 29" the rest of the yard was 18". The kids broke through in some spots so down they would go, in other spots they wouldn't break all the way through.
Enjoy the pictures : )

JD wanted to get his hair cut on Saturday but there was no road to be seen

The wind was annoying but we didn't lose power so thankful!

Saturday, Gideon was still in the window watching it all

The playhouse

Brutus came over on Saturday to see if the kids were gonna play

He loved it when they would take a tumble in the snow

Hailee taking a spill

Trying to go sleigh riding

Right before I took another tumble in the cold snow

There is a porch under there

JD working on finding us the porch

The weight of the snow bent a lot of pine trees

Our wood pile is somewhere up there

Sliding down the path JD made for us to get more wood

I know snow is a pain but look at the beauty God gives us in that pain

Trying to walk to the barn

Barn Cats view when I got the door open

They were happy to be dug out (see the space under the door, Isaiah cleared them a path)

Now for the walk back up to the house

I have that song stuck in my head from White Christmas:
Snow
It won't be long before we'll all be there with snow
Snow
I want to wash my hands, my face and hair with snow
Snow
I long to clear a path and lift a spade of snow
Snow
Oh, to see a great big man entirely made of snow

It was way past my knees heading to the barn

We needed to get out on Sunday so we started digging...

was so happy to see Mike come or we would prolly still be digging!
I have more pictures that I took yesterday on our drive to town, but they are on JD's phone. So they will come later...tonight we are suppose to get more snow. : )
Everyone stay safe and warm!
