Anyone that really knows my husband knows that he loves anything aviation. I mean one of Roo's middle names is Amelia. We have visited the MAPS Air Museum several times and JD really wanted to join but then life would happen and we just put it on the back burner.

In December we decided to make the time and we all joined. Can you tell how happy he is?

Isaiah climbed up in the Mig-17

Roo was just happy to have a badge with her name on it

The grave yard waiting to be worked on, they get airplanes all on donations and then restore them.
It was a really good day and everyone seemed to enjoy it. We even met some really nice members, esp Bob who will be 90 in a few months. Most Veterans we have talked to don't really like to share details which is very understandable, but Bob must have taken a liking to JD 'cause he didn't mind opening up to him at all.
JD is going to be helping them with the marketing side and restoring planes, I think he would make a great tour guide too ; )
We then went and checked out a Sam's Club to see if it would be worth it or not, since we will be making trips up that way now. I'm still not sure if you save money, maybe for larger families...but for the four of us not sure.
All in all it was a good weekend and I got all the Christmas down woohoo. It was warmer too so not much snow left on the ground :)
