The loss of a first tooth

is very exciting especially when the tooth comes out without any assistance from the mom who is very squirmish. Roo hopped off the bus this afternoon and came running up the drive like usual with her arms wide open for a hug. I could tell something was different but thought maybe it was the pizza left over from lunch, then thought hrmm no it's her tooth! She grinned great big and said "mommy, look I lost my tooth with the help of a basketball"


I couldn't get a good picture she was trying to stick her tongue through the opening but the tooth beside this one is very loose too. She is very excited...


I told her get ready 'cause Yogi will be singing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" the whole time we are in WV.


Which brings us to our video for today, Roo wanted to hear exactly how that song went. She liked the Alvin and the Chipmunks version but I favored good ol' Nat King Cole : )
