Last week we got the propane tank filled but I still hate to use it. It might be time though when the cats run and fight over who gets to lay in front of the space heater. Bella won this time : )
On Friday we were given a beautiful warm fall day. The kids had harvest parties and then dismissed from school early, so they really got to enjoy it.

When I arrived at the school Isaiah was out on recess, it was nice to watch him run and play with the other kids. All the laughing they were doing while playing a game of soccer.

Roo's class made Cat hats

Here is the whole class wearing their hat

They also took turns being spun around and then placing a sticker on the Jack O' Lantern

I was being split between the two classes and when I got to Isaiah's I seen them wrapping the principal in toilet paper. They were showing the next game to the kids.

Isaiah and his friend, Brice kept tearing their paper and were so behind...

I was surprised to see them win (first one out of TP won)

We then came home to find the stack of wood Josh and Casey had been working on, they came up this weekend to help JD pull out fire wood from the woods.

Brennen doesn't live far from us and he was able to come down for awhile

Not sure what they were doing here but they had a blast

Isaiah then went trick or treating with Aunt Debbie and while he was gone the girls went with a spin with Mike.

Here they are in outer space

The cows enjoyed the carved pumpkin Josh threw into the field.

On Saturday the weather had turned nasty but we got the pool covered with Josh's help before they headed back to WV.

Roo came in from playing with Haley to ask JD if she could drive Haley's 4-wheeler. JD told her he had to check it out first, Mike must have been able to sense our nervousness because he climbed on the back to help guide and teach Roo on how to drive it safely.

After riding with her for a spell he hopped off and let her give it a go on her own, he walked beside her and helped guide her from hitting the trees that would just pop up in her way.

Isaiah got to also take it for a spin and had a lot of fun on it.

Saturday evening we decided to start a fire JD is wanting to get all the kinks out before we have snow and really cold temps.

Once this thing gets going it will run you out of the house, we finally had to open some windows... don't mind the picture it is in our furnace room and the stove is hooked up to blowers to warm the whole house : )

Little Theodore has had a rough couple of days, first Brutus runs him up a power pole, then LB shows back up and pounds his head...

Then I go out yesterday morning and see him laying with his head in the chip bag, he was laying so still I thought he had passed away. I told the kids not to go near him didn't want them to see it before getting on the bus, when Isaiah said "mom, he is moving" I started to walk near him and talking to him, when he sat up. He was then moving his head from side to side trying to figure out which direction I was, then started to walk towards me. Now this cat never lets me pet him but today, well that was a different story.

I removed the bag to find a wet kitten with orange stains in his white fur, but he did let me lean over and give his head a scratch : )

Its a good thing Brutus didn't find him like that...
