However like any little kids mine do want to take part in the trick or treating. Of course we had our drama as we do almost every year. I take the fun out of the holiday for Isaiah. We don't buy costumes 'cause he will only wear it once being a boy, and I got to approve the mask. Ruthie of course is easy 'cause little girls have a closet of dress up clothes to chose from...she still plays in her costume from last year. The costume she wore this year she had bought several months ago
(the fairy that I posted about on here) and knew that is what she would wear.

We started out right after school in the Village, Roo's mask was only on for this picture, and then it was declared to itchy to wear : )

The stores in the village have someone sitting outside to give out candy to the kids

One of Isaiah's friends met up with us in the village. His mom feels like I do about it all so he was upset that he had to go as a football player : )

This was the cutest little costume, I think she was fall : )
We then went to the plaza for more candy and basically kill time till it started in town.

After hitting some houses in town Brennen and his mom were done, we met up with JD and continued on our way.
After we got home and the kids were in bed we then checked over the candy. The movie place in town had popped popcorn and then put it in Ziploc baggies for the kids...was so glad when JD told Roo, no this has to be thrown away. I of course was already thinking this but I tend to over think the germ thing so was glad to hear he felt the same (coming from the person who has cracked hands due to her over use of hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes) : )
Tonight if Isaiah still wants to go (having doubts now) JD is taking him to a haunted house so he can experience some of Halloween. Here is the deal if he can go, not get scared, sleep tonight, and not freak out...well then next year he can get one Halloween type thing to put in our yard. Only one though and first he has to go to the Haunted house lol : )
