Who are you grateful for?

Last night the kids had play practice for the Easter services. They are doing a play about GPS and how God is your GPS system. I was trying to get ready so told Roo to run up and get something out of her closet, she came back down and said I got a dress and pantyhose. I knew she got the black and white dress out ‘cause she loves it so and usually she does an ok job with her pantyhose too. So I told her go ahead and get yourself ready and then I’ll brush your hair and teeth. When she met me back at the bathroom door she was wearing the above, the black/white dress with purple pantyhose. I told her I think we should change our hose and she said but mommy they are so sparkly I don’t wanna. I then realized they are her Halloween pantyhose, and I’m not sure where she got them as I won’t buy anything with spiders on them and of course that is what the glitter was sparkled out webs and spiders ick. You gotta pick your battles right? I mean we are already running behind and I still gotta pick up Jackson. So I told her ok but remember to tell Mrs. Heather that you picked out the outfit and esp. those hose! : )

Later when I went back to get Roo from the pre-k room she had a small hand and said “look mommy, this is who I’m grateful for” I turned it over expecting to see “mommy” or “daddy” but instead it said Jackson, that is her answer for everything! Who do you want to pray for? Jackson. Who is your friend? Jackson. Who are you thankful for? Jackson. Isaiah’s answers are always mommy and daddy, but not Roo bug. : )

Isaiah also got a part in the program he will be carrying the #8 commandment as they sing a song about them. He likes to fade into the background so he doesn’t really want to do this, but hoping since he was a banner boy in the Christmas program it will be easier on him now.

At dance class today Roo got her very first birthday invitation it’s at the local bowling alley and although she doesn’t seemed too thrilled about going and wearing their shoes, she is excited to be going to have cake and ice cream! Roo is very germ aware so the idea of wearing bowling alley shoes has already brought on a million questions, I can see it now me spraying out the shoes lol.

**Gideon was in the window enjoying the sun that is why he is wearing the hand and invite, he was blocking my light so I figured to just use him**

I hope you all have a great day of knitting! : )

hahaha....she is an interesting girl.

when my dd was at her age, she loves to pick and match her set of clothes...so well, it is part and puzzles of growing and yes, i would think as a plus sign as they have their own thinking mind now..
