A touch of spring

The past two days have been so nice here, although today it’s a tad cooler. We have enjoyed walks, scooter rides, swinging, exploring the woods, windows open, and of course knitting. I love when the weather is like this, the sun makes me so happy : )

On Tuesday we diddled outside by cleaning up the yard and decorating for spring. I started the mittens and they have now been frogged, this was also the week for our knit night. I had actually forgot about the knit night till I got Hilde’s message but by then we had plans to go for a walk when JD came in. We enjoyed a walk and then they passed a football around for a bit.

Yesterday was even warmer so we got things picked up around the house early and headed back out. Roo is my outside child, she loves it, of course right now things are still kinda put away like for example her sandbox and she likes to swing, on my swing, but it needs to be repaired. Yesterday waiting for Isaiah she did seem to get a little antsy and I had to keep coming up with things to hold her attention.

Isaiah is my inside child but of course he knows that when it’s nice, he is going to be outside. I think they only asked one time yesterday if they could go in and play a game lol. They enjoy going out in the woods and exploring; they are coming back in from a hike and finding treasures.

I hope you all of you had a nice few days and could enjoy a taste of warmer spring temps! I hope it is here to stay soon : )

Have a great day of knitting : )

I love the pic of Roo swinging, complete happiness.
I remember as a kid taking 'hikes' to find treasures and fun stuff in the woods. Miss that.

Jackie, thank you it was colder here this weekend though...the bag was a Christmas gift from mom a couple of years ago, it holds a lot and keeps stuff very orgaized : )

Julie~she loves to be on the swings...we used to do the same : )

I think it's great you and JD get out with kids when the weather breaks. It makes for good family time.
Isiah may become more outside child as he gets older. You never know.
