A post about knitting?

I finished the Farmer's Wife socks today. This pattern is available now so I can share pictures with you guys. A couple of us took a 2nd look at the pattern, it's a very fast knit and gives a change to the typical K1, P1 pattern, it's more delicate looking and pretty.

It's worked from the toe up and you work a provisional cast on and after working the 2nd sock I really like this way of starting the sock. This is also still easy enough that you can work on at knit nights or on the phone, but keeps you interested in the pattern. This is what I worked on last night at Hilde's house, we had a great time and missed Kim and Becky, hopefully next time we can all meet! : )

The yarn I used is Wildfoote but I lost the label so I'm not sure on the colorway, and size 1 needles (magic looped).

I hope you all have a great day of knitting : )

I like your socks. What does this statement mean:

... you work a provisional cast on and after working the 2nd sock?

Did Max go home? He's such a cutie!

Lieke, Thank you!!

Lesley Ann~ Thank you oops the "It's worked from the toe up and you work a provisional cast on and after working the 2nd sock I really like this way of starting the sock." is 'cause after the first sock I blogged I wasn't so sure of this cast on 'cause I felt it was time consuming...this was kinda saying after working the 2nd sock I found it faster and liked it better : )
