I hope you all had a wonderful and safe Halloween. Trick or Treat night was Thursday and the kids were so excited. Usually I try to pass the time and wait for JD to come in but now that they are older it’s harder to do. By the time Isaiah got off the bus and we got his make-up on we didn’t have time to go to any of the shops in town. So I decided I would park at the H.S. and we would just walk along the road and then down another road. Next time I will park at Isaiah’s school lol. We then came back home and met up with JD and went back out for the last ½ hour.

Roo had a time with her dress, mom had taken it up for her and she could walk in it, except when she turned around. Her feet would get caught in the metal underwire and down she would go. After several houses we finally figured it out…get candy, say thank you, pick up dress, and then turn lol. Only a few things spooked her so that was good. She made the little bag at church on Wed. and wanted to carry it that night. It said "Glowing for God" : )

Isaiah wasn’t sure what he was, he just knew he wanted to wear this and have his face painted up. The first paint job he didn’t like so I had to do it again. Of course he didn’t want any photos takin’ of him. He only agreed on the one of them together, so I had to catch the others when he didn’t know.

Here they are trick or treating, Isaiah didn’t want to walk all the way up there for candy so I had to push him up. Roo couldn’t wait to get more candy lol.

I snapped this picture real fast when we were walking…then heard mooom would you please stop with the camera!

Of course Yeager had to get in on the fun. He just loved this costume (read no he hated it).

Doesn’t he just look so happy?

I don’t know why but I just love this photo of Roo walking away in her little dress, too cute!

Yesterday was so nice we spent the afternoon/evening outside. I worked on the stockings and then noticed a bee had come and landed on the pumpkin beside me, so of course I thought hrmm let’s see how close my camera can get lol.

I also had some visitors stop by, usually she has 2 babies with her but last night only 1 came with her. They are eating pears : )
The kids spent most of the evening out in the woods, they (3kids) came in for dinner. Isaiah then went and stayed the night with his friend.
We have 2wks before his b-day and then it seems like after that the rest of the year is gone…it just passes us so fast. I have NO IDEA what to get him for his b-day or Christmas this year. He is a hard one to buy for. I want to take him this weekend and find a bike that fits him and will next year. He has outgrown his. Santa (mom) is getting him one and Roo a dollhouse, but we are getting them up here so we don’t have to figure out how to get them back to OH after our Christmas trip in.
I’m hoping to vote this morning as well so I don’t have to do that on Tuesday.
As far as knitting goes, I’ve been working on the stockings, this morning the KH count was 70 stockings. Here are my 7 : )

I hope you all have a great day of knitting : )

I love the ones of Roo! You should take some more of her, posed by logs & such & make them sepia tone & (without the bag) blow them up for your house. Just my $.02 worth....I think she was gorgeous!
Isaiah was nice & spooky looking with his painted face. Dh saw the pic & said he's a halloween monster. Glad you had a good time.
Thank you, yesterday I had her put it back on and we walked around snapping pictures. I got some good ones but she can be hard to get a picture of she likes to pose herself lol... : )
