Last night while watching Kitty Foyle, I finished up my first Sockmania sock for this month. I love this pattern and wish I could get a better picture of it. I have trouble taking photos period and often have my son take them for me (really at 7 he can do a better job) but even this sock was hard for him to take. I wanted to show you guys that starting at the leg the hearts go all the way around. I love that part. Maybe when I get them finished I’ll get a better shot.
The yarn I’m using is so soft. I bought it from Wooly Treasures on Etsy the name is Ruby Slippers. She includes a truffle and a stitch marker (that is the cutest thing).
I also tried my hand at Sherman’s Short Row heel. I didn’t think I was going to get through this heel. Reading the instructions made no sense to me what so ever. Dotty gave me her tip of a chart and decided well I’m just going to start it. I did and ended up frogging the thing more times than I care to remember. So then I decided to wait till my sinus med head cleared. Didn’t have a problem working the heel then and even wondered why it was so hard the day before even on sinus meds? Just one of those days I suppose.

I have CO for the 2nd sock but it needs to be put on hold while I knit up Isaiah’s hedgehog real fast. Roo’s is already finished just waiting for his to felt.
The bag that my sock is around is one that Dotty made for me. I'm a HUGE Elvis fan and sent her some material I had for a long time. I love it! You will see it often : )
Hope you all have a great day of knitting!!
