Wow it’s been a while

Time slipped away from me this time and now I need to play catch up.  I will start with pictures of what has consumed most of my time this month : )

The month of May was wrapping up the ends at school with Track and Field days, snow cone days, watching Isaiah play the recorder, and the last day of awards. 

Then we went right into recital and soccer tournaments : )

I didn’t get very many pictures of this game it was too nerve wrecking! The boys lost and were out of the tournaments. 

Now I’m busy with this:

along with running Isaiah to soccer (he is now gearing up for the 3v3) and Roo has began gymnastics for the summer months.  She also started back to dance on Tuesday, she couldn’t wait, that one week off about did her in! : )

Where to start

Where should I start on the week that has past. 

How I went to the barn and found “dead” kittens? I went to scoop them all up and one squeaked.  I put the others down and started working on the little kitten it took some time but I finally got him warm and latched back on to his momma…then I repeated this 3 more times.  I lost one kitten : (

Should I start with Roo’s Elite banquet?  It was a really nice event for all the girls and they had a blast.

Should I tell you how Bonnie had her kittens in the pasture and we had to rescue them (our barn cats do not make the best mommas lol)

or should I start with Track and Field day for the K-3rd graders

The PTO gave out free snow cones to the kids

Should I start with how we ended up in the ER with Isaiah?

He had blood in his ear and the Dr told me to take him to the ER it ended up being a ruptured ear drum.  He is on medicine but thankfully is in no pain!! We go the Dr this coming week and then he will see a specialist.

or how the kids spent an evening just enjoying being outside

 
or should I start with how we took out the old pool liner and got the new one in?

It will be awhile on the filling up part…

That has been our week but we have got a lot accomplished this week outside.  The yard is shaping up and JD has been power washing the porches, they are looking so good!

A beautiful day

They are so rare that we enjoyed every minute of the day on Thursday! JD had to take my car in to work so we didn’t have dance that evening either.  It was nice to just be outside : )

Storm says hello…

We have had a lot of rain and it makes it hard to get out in the pasture to work with Storm, it also makes it hard for him to walk around in certain areas.

Yesterday was the first day we hadn’t seen rain in a while and of course he rolled in a big mud hole, you would think he would be happy to be dry for a day  ; )

He is such a ham : D

Easter

Dad and mom came up for Easter and we had a really nice weekend.  The weekend went by way to fast and we missed Ray not being here.

The kids and I just watched Easter Parade this Sunday. It confuses Roo when “Dorthy” appears in other movies lol.  : )
